A Spring Vineyard Wedding Full of Heart: Ashley & David at St. Paul Mountain Vineyards

Ashley and David’s wedding at St. Paul Mountain Vineyards in North Carolina was everything a wedding should be—personal, emotional, and overflowing with joy. Nestled in a place close to their hearts (the vineyard is owned by dear family friends and a favorite spot they visit often), this day felt like coming home—wrapped in love and surrounded by people who know them best.

Ashley got ready with the women who have shaped her life—her mom, stepmom, and sister—an intimate and incredibly sweet moment filled with happy tears, quiet laughter, and the kind of closeness that set the tone for the entire day. Her dress fit her beautifully, timeless and soft, and the love around her was palpable from the start.

The first look happened under the trees, with sunlight peeking through the branches. Just the two of them, taking it all in. It was tender and peaceful, and one of those moments that makes everything else fade away.

The ceremony was set among textured, vibrant spring florals—bright oranges, yellows, and blues bringing the vineyard to life in the most joyful way. Instrumental musicians played as Ashley walked down the aisle. It felt like the whole day paused to honor the love between them.

Bridesmaids wore pastel dresses, adding charm and personality to the spring palette. The reception inside the vineyard was warm and welcoming—long tables dressed in blue and white patterned plates, lush floral arrangements in cheerful hues, and laughter echoing through every toast. Ashley’s sister and David’s brother gave emotional speeches, leaving everyone teary-eyed.

The cake was straight out of a vintage dream—pastel hues with ruffled icing, delicate and nostalgic in the best way. After dinner, guests gathered outside under the tent for dancing, and just before the sun dipped behind the mountains, we snuck away for sunset portraits in the vineyard.

The sky gave us the most breathtaking golden light, wrapping Ashley and David in a warm glow as they walked through the vines. It was quiet and soft and stunning—everything this day had been from beginning to end.
